McQueen Rolex withdrawn from auction.

Some things I have had questions about the watch had been answered in the article. Now I have more but withdrawal is the correct answer till all questions are answered.

Truly a very sad tale, as I can't help but feel for the young lady who was hoping to raise her son in a good environment. Still, if there is a valid reason for the McQueen's to remain intractable, then that's the way it's going to have to be. The one thing that remains central to me is that I miss the hell out of Steve McQueen; what an AMAZING man he was!

I was wondering if the movement needed replacing or was it restorable?

My guess is that, with all of the radiant and direct heat placed on the watch, many of the movement's more delicate pieces were, at the very least, warped or otherwise rendered unusable... :cry:
