A Long Overdue Thank You...
All of us have seen our share of karma postings, but not all of us are lucky enough to win the drawing. This past May, I was lucky enough to join the celebrated ranks of karma watch winners, thanks to JAS1125's generous offer of an Invicta Speedway II. I was very pleased with this bit of luck, as the Speedway was one of the few remaining, non-ginormous Invictas I had hoped to acquire. Upon being notified that I was the winner, I had planned to take a few shots of the new acquisition and show them off, along with a note of thanks to JAS1125.
Unfortunately, I got a bit distracted with other things, not the least of which was finding and switching over to the perfect strap to complement the watch. (Not that the bracelet it came with was bad, or anything; I just prefer straps for my sport watches, especially motor sport watches.) Given the Speedway moniker, I went with a rally strap, but not just any rally strap; I chose a rally strap with hand-painted, reverse-shadow trim.
The results can be seen in the following snaps...
...nice color matching, if I do say so m'self...
...it keeps its classic looks, both on and off the wrist...
Thanks for everything, JAS1125!!
