1024 pixels wide is huge. I'm not sure any forum would accept that.

I've been using these pictures everywhere including WL, never an issue.

I wonder if the other forums are automatically resizing them. Mine are usually in the 500-600 range and don't look that different than your's.

WL allows linked images to be any size, which will sometimes force people to download stupidly-large images into their browser. This board has a 1024px limit on linked images to keep that from happening. The 1024px limit allowed me to set up images to auto-adjust to the screen width, something that is not possible on WL unless you're on a smartphone.

Both boards impose the same limits on uploaded images.

That must be why I have never had a problem. Almost all my pictures are taken with my smartphone.
