2015 what's on tap?

Post by Ocean » Sun Jan 04, 2015 8:17 am

So it is a new year. What watches are thinking about or pondering.

Myself I haven't bought anything of significance in almost 2 years. I have my eyes on 2 a Chronoswiss and Arnold & Son.

Orient revolver inbound and a Accutron spaceman mark II. I should have both by Feb. Then lots of traveling with the wife so maybe that's it for a time.

Nothing too crazy on my end

I've been looking for the right 6309-7049 for a while.

I think I'll be bidding a warm farewell to the Mido and the Raketa - just never got that warm and fuzzy from them.

Travis and me all ready work out a deal. He is giving me till the middle of Feb. to give him the founds. I maxed out my charge cards on Christmas for the grand-kids. He is an awesome guy. I have been trying to find one for a couple of years. The one conjuer won on the auction, I too had been biding on, just could not go high enough to win it. BL's is perfect, so shit happens for a reason.

Thanks, Kahuna, for your kind words.

No coincidences.

Had to drop plans for the Zodiac. Saw more release pics and, well, meh. :(

Of note is that now anything under $500 isn't considered a significant purchase. Wow. Times change quickly. Two years ago that much was, with the exception of a Rolex, too much to spend on a watch.
