Where did all our timepieces go?
Where did all our timepieces go?

Something strange is going on. A few years ago, my kids stopped wearing wristwatches. This struck me as perverse, since the timepiece had always been a mark of professionalism and they had been thrilled (I think) to receive their first Timexes for Christmas. I thought of the wristwatch as the replacement for the transition from knickers to long pants or the training bra of Daylight Savings Time.
