My questions were answered yesterday. So you didn't jump the gun. I don't want either site to die. I'm a member of both. There is a ton of information on both. I don't want members from either go without a great forum. If any two forums could merge to make a much stronger forum it would be the WF and BDWF. Once the members of both integrate it should be seamless. I think everyone will get along.

For those here correct me if I'm wrong doing this from memory.
BDWF moderators I'm forgetting some.

I agree John....it would be great if this can be done.
As to your list....from BDWF there is also Bonsai Doug and Anzac1957. I've asked Doug to join here and Conj is seeing if he has Tony's email to convey the info.
If we can restore the database, I can use the membership e-mail list to contact all of the members, both active and inactive.

I had been trying to get BDWF members to join here for a while. I think the merge of the two will be a win/win. I am a member of both and members temperament is about the same at both places. It would be a terrible loss in the watch forum communities to lose BDWF with the history they have. Somewhat like losing Poor Man's Watch Forum.
I think the merge may attract more members to participate.

It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.

Well, right now we appear to be back up and fully functional.
At this point, we'll see what happens going forward and what Mike's decision will be.

Thanks for the support and I agree we should try for some more cross membership even if we remain as 2 separate forums.
