I want a tuna bad, the only one that would fit me is the mini tuna and they are very hard to find. I will get one some day though, I will own one.

It's what they call a Shark Tuna, from what I can tell it is either a 42mm or a 44mm, depending on who is writing about it. If I follow the links I can get one for 150.00. That is a good price to see what the fit would be on me and I would like to use the movement and case for a dial I would like to make.

My issue is that this is a step below a replica. I would love to have one to play with and modify to make my own though. I don't mean modify with a tuna dial, I would go silver, orange or teal on my dial and pop off some tritium from a cheap watch for the dial markers.
Any opinions on this?

Svagy, for what my tainted opine is worth, I say GO FOR IT! Did you see my entry in today's (9 Feb 17) WURW? I've been told almost exactly the same thing about IT, but don't give a shit. I'M head over heels in love with the thing, and it's something that's actually become MORE valuable through the process of its modification...

I love the case and shroud. I figure if it is too big for me, I can flip it on WUS and if it fits decent, I will mod it. The guys on WUS seem to be impressed with the quality so I will have a good movement and case to work with.
