For instance, I put the mighty Kickstarter COURG up, members say if they want in, it is mailed to each member for a week or two to wear and try out, they write a quick review and if they want it as a keeper or not, at the end of the journey the reviews are voted on who wants or deserves it most and they get the watch. Doesn't matter to give back at that time, I have several watches to start us off, just chime in when you want to put one up.
I think it would be a cool way to off load our watches we don't want and send them on trips around the world to see who might appreciate them. If your wives, sons, daughters, brother's, sisters or parents like them.... Then cool, they can join in and you can relay their thoughts on the watch in route.

If it is a watch we all want then it goes to auction and highest bid goes to the forum so we can pay our own way and help Alain out with maintenance costs. I'm not expecting watches that are high dollar here, just what we have that we want to offload.

Perhaps BDWF members would be more likely to participate in this and become active forum members.

Sounds like a good idea to me, Allison. We'll probably need to tweak it a bit, here and there, but the idea has great bones...
