I had my first “Have You Fallen?” moment with my Apple Watch
Hello everyone,
I was driving in a parking garage today, and the stupidest bitch driving a huge SUV decided to turn the wrong way down the aisle right into my path, and i had to slam on my horn (while slamming on my brakes) to avoid an impact. The watch was on the arm that I slammed my horn with, and during a heated exchange with her dipshit boyfriend hanging out of the passenger side, I received an alert on my watch that it had “detected a fall.” My watch asked me to press one of two icons, “I’m okay” or “Send an SOS.” I pressed “I’m okay” and https://vlc.onl/ it asked me again if I’m okay, and I pressed the “I’m okay” icon a second time. This technology works. It’s amazing. I understood why I received this message, because the impact of my hand hitting the horn was quite substantial, as if I was falling off of a bicycle and hitting my hand on the pavement. My Apple Watch now appears to be well worth the money for the peace of mind, in case I do fall and need emergency services. My only question, is this: if I’m not able to press the “I’m okay” or the "SOS" icon, is there a time limit that the Watch will detect no press, and call emergency services anyway, in lieu of my not pressing an icon? Appvalley Tweakbox Thank you!
