This Android Infini tungsten died on me so I thought I'd try my luck at replacing the movement. I ordered a movement and hand removal tool and gave it a try!



As you can see the mother of pearl flaked right off. It's REALLY thin. I was as careful as I could be but as you see not careful enough. I noticed a "crease" in the MOP when I first removed it and was hoping it wasn't cracked but it was. Looks like when the hands were put in they put a little too much pressure on it.

Looks like I'll be searching the web for some watch faces and see if I can salvage the bracelet.

At least it appears to be real mother of pearl?
I suspect certain brands used stickers but not sure.

It's toast alright! I'll look for a new watch face since I bought the new movement and see what I can come up with.
