I had noted this article on some other watch forum; the name escapes me at present. I think the “top 62” choices were pretty much limited to whatever ones the magazine had access to – I mean, heck, Baume is the most reviled and useless brand since Invicta’s famous Activa line of plastic watches.
All that being noted, of this list, here’s what I’d fancy: The Girard-Perregaux 1966 is a classic look that never goes out of style, and heck, it’s a GP … Rado Captain Cook? Anytime; they’re just so spiffy … the JLC Memovox was on my short list at the time I picked up a new Rolex last year … I’m an admitted fan of the Longines HydroConquest line from soup to nuts … there are a few other personal winners on that list, but I’d boil my choices down to any one of these. Or two.
