If I recall, isn't there a Homage Forum? Or is it all about replicas?

Homage watches seem to becoming more mainstream of late
Yeah, that's the whole point of the piece - what once was considered "you can't do that" now is being done by serious collectors. Most of the Chinese-made ones, even.

It's all up to personal preference. As for me? A note for note clone is just not my style. But that's just me. A bit of the same is great, but I dunno - to me, it's like putting Chinese clone parts in your Porsche.

Saw this on Facebook.... Newest homages from Pagani..... Check the white dial Explorer

I would really like to see this PD stuff in real time. They photograph really well - but then again, so to the Benyar quartz clones on Amazon that sell for 30 bucks.

I owned a PD TAG Aquaracer homage when they first started up the brand. Was a horrific POS with the bezel so loose and the bracelet edges so sharp that I tossed it in the trash.

Evidently, as with Phoibos, they are reinvesting to improve QC. Of course prices are climbing with better QC.

I don't care if it is a $30 watch and a dead ringer for a famous watch, some things I cannot tolerate. A shitty bezel being number one on a dive style watch.

Having yet another dust up on a Facebook group.... Guys arguing that their 45 buck Benyar is all that Ali Express says it is, despite evidence to the contrary

Just for fun, I blew $25 bucks on a Benyar quartz watch I just ordered. Review next week, provided I don't die from lead poisoning.

I lurk in the FB groups waiting on someone to ask for an opinion about a brand/watch.

Show a photo, I keep my pie hole shut. Ask for opinions and I ain't holding back. 😂

If you survive the lead, the volatile organic compounds may get you. An Ali Express box opening probably smells a lot like Harbor Freight.
