Incoming...

Post by MKTheVintageBloke » Tue May 04, 2021 2:52 pm

So, I ordered a watch from the motivational program at work...

One hint: heavily makes one appear worldly, but it ain't heavyweight.

Guess as many times as you want.

Nope, pretty far off, yet kind of has something in common.

Nope, something more elegant.

Elegant?! You're sure it's a Citizen??
Citizen, dear Mr. Conjurer, doesn't end on Promasters. As for it being elegant, well, Citizen calls it just that...

Indeed it’s part of that line-up.

Aaaalriiiiight, y'all... Here it is. Meet the Citizen Elegant ref. CB0190-84E:
https://www.citizenwatch.eu/product/cb0190-84e/
Case and bracelet in Citizen's proprietary Super Titanium (titanium alloy with scratch-resistant titanium oxide coating). Of important features - Eco-Drive, Radio-Controlled, quick time zone switching, perpetual calendar.

It appears to take a lot from the ref. CB0010, however it's sleeker, more elegant, and it has 22mm lugs instead of the CB0010's idiotic 23mm.
I've heard it's some special edition for some anniversary of Citizen's first use of titanium, but I don't know if there's any truth to that. I don't give a fuck if it is or isn't, what matters is that I find it a pretty fucking cool watch and can't wait to finally get it on my wrist.

Nice! I had a Promaster Sky in the super Ti; apart from a nick on the side of the case, I never put a scratch on it. It was also super light.
