Drunken EBay bidding

Post by Ocean » Mon May 23, 2022 6:20 pm

My story started last weekend I hitting the hooch pretty hard. Started looking at different things and saw a Mido that I have wanted for sometime and was looking at some Orient Stars at the same time. Short story somehow I ended up on the Orient Star and bid 450.00. I woke up the next morning and realized my mistake and felt sick to my stomach when I looked at the watch and cross referenced it. You can find it for about 675-750. So I was going to chalk it up to a stupid night but on Saturday I got a notification that I was outbid. My question is which one of you was drinking Saturday night???

Once, when I came to in the morning, I looked at my tablet and was very afraid. I had, apparently, been looking at Grand Seikos on eBay the night before. One of the hardest things I ever did was hit the purchases button to see if I had bought anything in my drunken stupor. Thankfully I had not.
Then I looked up recent purchases on my credit card to just make sure and verify I hadn’t.
It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.

Interestingly, I was drunk bidding on CigarBid last night, and woke up to find that I won 3 different packs and a travel humidor!

Good times.....

Haven’t tried them yet. Are they any good? Cigars seem to be of good quality but having never been on their site I’m a apprehensive.

Best place to buy cigars here is actually at the flea market they have an area that’s enclosed and ac this is where the old timer is. In front is mostly low cost or touristy stuff but if you ask what’s good in back. It’s a giant walk-in humidor. Once he got to know me I was also able to pickup Cubans.

Nice!

The site is just the auction site for Cigar International. They carry a wide selection of good quality items. I was able to get some Montecristo's and Partagas last night in my drunken spree.
