The Sweet Spot??

Post by Ocean » Mon May 23, 2022 6:30 pm

We all have a sweet spot that we are comfortable with as far as watch prices go. With the way the market is currently I believe that a lot of products are over priced including watches. Take a look at Seiko prices for reference.

Me I currently am comfortable with a price below 3,500 and most under 1,500 as that seems like a great place to look for great deals. There’s a lot of great watches in that area and yes I have spent over 10k but I don’t wear often enough for me to consider spending that much. Sometimes I’m not in the greatest of areas or feel comfortable wearing at certain places. The average person isn’t going to know what you are wearing unless they are a watch person. I’ve seen it in real life someone saying that looks nice I look and want to throw up.

Three grand ain't all that bad for me. I have to think it over a little bit, but I've spent more and been happy.

I topped out at about $2,000 a few years ago. Now, I mostly think it over and decide no but one of these days the dam could spring a leak.
