Hello everyone,

I am very new to vintage watches. I was offered this zenith at a reasonable price but want the forums thoughts and opinions first; I'd also like to test my extremely limited knowledge.

I believe the watch case, dial, and mechanism are original to a circa 1956 zenith big star; I believe the dial has been refurbished or cleaned (no 'swiss' or 'swiss made' appears on the dial at 6 o' clock).

Can anyone offer some feedback or insights on this watch and/or my approach ?
