My Cadence Wrist Rocket arrived today from the land of kangaroos.



I didn't know what to expect as I've never seen this model. Cadence is known for making rowing watches that count the number of strokes plus other things. This is more of a general use watch with chronograph, alarm, 24 hour function, analog and backlit digital displays. This was a gift from bedlam at WL for posting the world's ugliest watch on his relevant thread.

I really like the oversized, dot-matrix font; us old guys always appreciate things we don't have to squint at...but I like the unique look of this, as well. Not sure why they charge extra for the red wrist rocket card/stand, but the watch itself is certainly not overpriced.

So...exactly what won the 'ugliest watch' competition?

I can't find who the manufacturer is, but I seem to remember it being a legitimate Swiss house.

This wasn't entered, but it's pretty damn ugly as well.
