SOTC 2020
State of the Collection, 2020
Well, this pandemic has been a real bitch. Found myself buying scads of watches, some never worn before I flipped them.
I suppose that in a world gone mad, watch buying is one of the least harmful coping mechanisms; not that I have given up vaping or managed to lose weight.
After making it through the COVID infection I had a bit of an epiphany. What would it matter if I left behind boxes of watches that were bordering on hoarding? When I take the big dirt dive, I would like to leave behind watches that will be valuable not only for sentimental value but will posses actual monetary value.
Anyway, other than a handful of watches that were gifts, I have turned over my entire collection.
