Junghans Meister Driver Chronoscope

Post by biglove » Wed Feb 24, 2021 7:48 pm

Just made it in today, delayed a week by the winter storms. JUNGHANS 027/3686.44 Meister Driver Chronoscope automatic.

Managed to get $918 off regular price from River Edge, a New Jersey AD with the MoT Inner Circle discount code.

Is lighter on the wrist than I expected. Wears extremely well. Isn’t like anything else in my collection. Will size it up this weekend.

Specs:

Grey lacquer dial with recessed sub-dials
Superluminova-hour & minute hands
Diameter-40.8mm
Thickness-12.6mm
Lug-to-lug-45mm
Lug width-21mm
Movement-25 jewel self-winding J880.3 w/ETA 7750 base-42 hour power reserve
Crystal-Plexiglass w/ SICRALAN coating, convex
Caseback-flat mineral screw back
Water resistant depth-3 atm
Antimagnetic-4800 A/m
Bracelet-nine link stainless (equal to the VX-200 bracelet in comfort but lighter)

The green sub-dials are a nice compliment to the grey dial..quite the looker!..
Ebels are a lot like women that lack a low cut dress that zips up the side...neither get the love that they deserve...
