Bronze Timex MK1

Post by JAS1125 » Thu Mar 04, 2021 9:44 am

Ashford had a sale last week, so with a clearance and coupon, I thought I would try bronze, which I don't have.
Brass plated case, no date and good Indigo.
Nice domed acrylic crystal too.

The band sucks...poor leather and too long, but for 18 bucks and change, it's hard to complain.

Many a Watch God raise their ale filled gourds in salute to your fine ass pick up..
Ebels are a lot like women that lack a low cut dress that zips up the side...neither get the love that they deserve...

For $18, how could you not buy it?! That's great!

What an awesome deal. Timex has been there early on in this watch world of ours, through thick and thin. I can’t imagine a collector out there who doesn’t or hasn’t owned one, of course I own several (you can’t just own one).
It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.

Indeed...my 1st watch was a Timex, and a few years back, I found a working model of the exact same one.
We're talking 1970 or 71 here.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone
