Timex Originals 1970s Reissue T2N392
There was a recent thread over at WL regarding a beautiful vintage Timex Electric. As happens, seeing a nice watch will spark an interest, usually leading to a purchase. I found the Timex Originals 70s Reissue on Amazon for $89 and figured I would give it a try.
A few initial thoughts:
It really does "keep on ticking", quite loudly actually. The indiglo feature is cool but I couldn't figure out how to photograph it. Decent lume. The case feels pretty solid, with nice brushed and high polished surfaces. The expansion bracelet feels like it is made of folded tin, and will be replaced as soon as I can get a 18mm strap ordered. 40mm East to West including crown. Wish the dial didn't say "Water Resistant".
Thanks for looking!
