While I greatly admire the functionality and durability of the Gees, I honestly don't get the whole collectable mania some guys pay big bucks to indulge in; they almost seem to be the Beanie Babies of horology.

I will add, that the accuracy of the quartz movements is not say... at par with similar offerings by Suunto, Citizen and Seiko...good beaters nonetheless.
