Does the crown screw down? Absolute deal breaker for me if it doesn't.
Alas, no. AFAIK, all the Seiko 5ers based on the old SKX are push-pull. As a result, the old SKX water resistance was 200m, while the new 5ers are 100.

This is interesting, as well as disconcerting, considering that Seiko sold the SKX for a street price of around $200; say what you will about the SKX, it was a Seiko, it had a screw-down crown, meaning that it was good for WR of at least twice or three times what it said on the dial. These new 5ers are going for roughly twice the SKX, and in some cases a lot more than that, and Seiko couldn't even bother to put a proper crown on the bastards. This makes them fine wartchs for guys like Poggy, and absolute shit for the rest of the world.
