Seiko Announces New XNY Watch Brand

Seiko announced the launch of its newest watch brand, XNY™ this Sept.
XNY feature watches with designs inspired by youthful energy, artistic diversity and New York City. Seiko describes XNY brand watches as modern, urban, rugged and durable, designed for the active lifestyle and driven by current and emerging trends in youth culture.
The brand features two categories within its Fall 2012 collection. One category is influenced by 80’s street style and features modern interpretations of classic watch styles with contrast details and minimalistic designs.
The second category was inspired by a combination of vintage, military, handmade and industrial styles. These watches were designed with unique materials such as ripstop nylon and anodized aluminum.
XNY was created by Seiko Corporation of America, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Seiko Watch Corporation, which is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, and is being introduced exclusively at Macy’s nationwide starting in Fall 2012 with prices ranging from $120 – $220 USD.
