Nice read, I actually tend to forget that Seiko do makes more quartz than mechanical watches....
I think however Seiko is number 1 in mechanical/auto mid/high end , but also think Citizen dominates the quartz scene by far.

I guess citizen knew what they were doing putting all their eggs in the ecodrive basket.
