Heard a while back yellow beats orange....and sure enough , here is a neat under water color dispersion table....

Who'd a thunk that GREEN would last so long...of course, it is a powerful color...the USN used a blue-green laser to help them find and kill, er, track Soviet submarines as far back as the early 80s, so I shouldn't be surprised...
