Re: Renato T-Rex Generation 3
I still have one of the original Stallions with the PU center links- really a pretty decent watch. Gave a nice MOP Beast on a really nice gator strap(handpicked for the black MOP dial by a very cool chick who worked there in the mail order only blow-out days whose name escapes me, along with 3/4ths of the other names I used to be able to remember) to my nephew as the crown caught the back of my hand just wrong. Not a fan of the new stuff.

Didn't catch this in Neddles original post but it's there. Check out the spelling of GENERATION on the subdial @ 9. The two color variations posted on the shopping channel are the same. 700 bucks? Are kidding me?

Nice find DB, wonder what Renato has to say about that^ ?
I am sure they know of the discrepancy and is hoping it doesn't create a shit storm.

I'm going to get one before they fix it- undoubtedly will add 5X to the collector's value; just like a mis-strike from the Franklin Mint. õ.õ

Would love to see this train wreck happening & hope someone posts it. I have always felt that Renato was a really bad joke, and now they have officially cemented themselves as a fourth rate watch supplier.
The joke before this was the double (triple? quadruple?) limited edition numbering, a bogus "Black Card Membership" program, confirmed shit diamond quality and the infamous distributorship buy-in program (LOL).
Can someone post a link to the discussion? I'll grab a lounge chair and a bucket of popcorn just to watch this miserable excuse for a "watch" company shit themself.
Re: Renato T-Rex Generation 3
Damn...'genernation' is even on the advert in the OP...do you think that maybe it's an intentional--NO! Fuck it, they threw away a chance to make the brand into something decent, even - God willing - something of value...I should've learned my lesson with the whole 'new' Beast offering as they made their way back to Shop. Man, what a pisser...Genernation III, made with real Swiss rubber!* Jeebus Cripes...

Here is the response:
With regards to the misspelling on the T-Rex Generation III, we are aware of it and can assure you this is not an issue. The misprint only affected a small percentage of the production of the T-Rex Gen III. If you in fact do receive your timepiece with the spelling error, please contact Daniel Mink directly at: [email protected]. We will arrange for it to picked up and replaced free of charge. For the most part, our collectors will not have this issue. Thank you.

It's more than what they are saying. The other two variations say the say thing. So I'm seeing four variations that are messed up.
