That is a good price, AJC; alas, I'm pretty much tapped out until after the holidays.

I've seen several OS300s coming up for sale lately for around this price--I've heard that Orient is doing a makeover for this model, and seen at least one or two Japanese etailers deeply discounting it. (Seiya Japan, which isn't known for having bargain-basement prices, is selling them for around $1295, or about a hundred less than I got mine from Watches88.)

The fact that this example doesn't include the original box (or, apparently, the rubber strap) might account for this one being priced so low.
