I recognize the guy selling it. He was once at WL, Sminkypinky was his nickname there. Seemed like a decent guy. IIRC, he's an Irish expat, and if he's shipping - as per his location on WUS - from Kuwait, I can't blame him for charging $50 for the shipping, I have the same problem with shipping to anywhere outside Europe. Britain, Norway and Switzerland are the only non-EU countries with OK rates to ship to, but the rest of the world... For shipping to the US, I'd have to charge a similar rate, because it's what I'd have to pay to DHL for that. Shipping rates are what they are, there's no getting around that. With the current state of the market, people aren't very willing to buy pre-owned watches of this kind, even if it is a good deal for a very decent watch. I myself am struggling to find buyers and have no luck so far. Seems like the guy wants to minimize his loss on the watch, because sure as shit he can't turn a profit on it. Justified, in my book.
My manner of thinking, so you say, cannot be approved. Do you suppose I care? A poor fool indeed is he who adopts a manner of thinking for others!

Sent him a PM. Seems like a nice guy. Shipping prices are out of hand.
