AS1920 movements (A. Schild) made hi-beat movements in the very late 60's and early 70's for several companies like Lucien Piccard, Hamilton, Mido (and your Aquastar Grand Air), bulletproof , excellent accuracy.
Your Hamilton 631 looks is the "divers" model? (not completely sure) if it is , that's the collectors choice model ...
Great review Don, it is a very special watch.

An excellent question regarding which is the diver version; I went over the case and case-back with my loupe, but there is no notation as to water resistance of the watch. However, the case-back is pretty worn, making it very difficult - if not impossible - to read the engraving in many places, so the question remains unanswered for now. My watchmaker does have a very strong reading scope, so I'll see what he has to say. In the meantime, many thanks for your bon mots about my review, Eddie. 8)

Thanks very much, Mr. O! It's interesting that there don't seem to be any middle-of-the-road feelings when it comes to the NATO strap; folks seem to either love it or hate it... :)
