UN "Game Of Thrones" Watch

I read in a print newspaper earlier today that these things are just on fire at retail, if you can even find one. Some fans are losing their minds looking for these. When they were new, they sold for 10 grand.

Uh ... okay. Frankly, looking at UN's newest stuff, I think they've lost their friggin' minds.

From a Blog To Watch:

As a limited edition of just 25 pieces, this version of the Ulysse Nardin Marine Diver Black Sea has a few special Game of Thrones and Night’s Watch features. For the most part, it is a red accented version of the brand’s popular Marine Diver, here only slightly modified for The Game of Thrones and HBO. You can see an aBlogtoWatch hands-on look at the chronograph version of the watch here. The 45.8mm wide case is in steel coated with vulcanized black rubber. Rubber also coats the rotating diver’s bezel.

Red is used for the hour markers and hands as is the case with the standard Marine Diver Black Sea. Though for those who “take the black,” it might have been good to make the hands and hour markers accented in gray to create a better “all-black” phantom watch look to match the theme. Ulysse Nardin has a watch like this called the Marine Diver Black Ocean (as opposed to “Sea”). The names do get confusing for sure.

Jesus Christ, what an appalling wartche. It reminds me of those horrible Invicter comic character watches; I don't know what sort of asshole would have bought one of those pieces of shit.

I recall some jerkoff posting somewhere about how the Invicta Comic Character wartchs made him feel "happy." Poor, deluded bastard.

Hey, I think I remember that, too - there was some old guy that hoisted up his $140 Popeye Pro Diver like it was some sort of heirloom, I believe it was. Then the guy railed on and on about some military heroics that were so over-the-top that he obviously pulled them straight out of his ass. Small world, eh?

I bought a Mickey Mouse Pro Diver because it reminded me of when I was a kid. I eventually flipped it. If I have to listen this kind of crap on this forum you can count me OUT. Besides, I'm getting warnings about the site from Norton Security.

I like cartoon character watches. The Timex Marlin Snoopy is on my short list. I'd rock that Mickey Mouse Invicta any day. Not a big fan of Popeye, but that watch never bugged me.

You win!

You not only win, you get a trophy, and the prom queen already told me she says yes.
