Anyone else here a member? Looks like it could be fun, I’ll try it out for a year and see if it’s something I want to continue. I like the variety offered and the reviews look good. I don’t think $300.00 a year is bad at all. Getting the opportunity to try various brands and have the chance to buy hard to find stuff is cool.

I signed up and placed my first order. For the main bottle I chose Jefferson’s small batch, I know I like Jefferson’s and I don’t have any at the moment. I didn’t want to risk my big bottle on something I may not like. For my testers I ordered their awards pack. I thought about one of the scotch tester packs, but I have a lot of scotch right now. There are a lot of tester packs to choose from, I can choose vodka, gin, tequila, whiskey, bourbon, scotch etc... I’m sure I’ll come out of this year with some new favorites.

This will be a nice way to explore various alcohol and not spend money on a big bottle I end up not liking.
Years ago, I dropped some serious coin on Laphroaig and damn near quit drinking. That was horrid and I couldn’t get the boggy peat taste out of my mouth. I thought I drank pond scum.

This is really interesting. I like the tastings. I find myself searching the racks to find something new and have a difficult time deciding.

I don’t think the 300.00 a year is too much to pay for getting introduced to a wide variety of alcohol. I can read about a certain brand at their site and see others comments on how they liked it. I will have exposure to other countries alcohol and have the option to try it. If I don’t like it I won’t waste a big bottle. If I like it, I can get it as my big bottle or purchase it.
You have to be home to sign for it though, that isn’t a problem for me. I’ll just track it and be home on the day of delivery.

Yep. Update time!!

So far it’s cool. I got my first order and didn’t have a bad whiskey in the bunch. The second order I got the Vodka variety for mom, she said she has a new favorite now. I just have to convince my local store to carry it or start ordering it through the club.
I got no complaints, each sample tube holds enough for two drinks and I get to chose a fifth on top of it. It might be a little pricey, but I get to try various brands and experiment.
It makes shopping easy.
