Ok guys, up for your approval is my G-Shock that was on the table in June of last year when the thread died. Refer back to page 5 for pics. First to ask, gets the watch. On second thought, I will add a Mystery watch to the pot, so it's a 2fer. Just for shits and giggles.....oh, heres the Gshock.

The G is on my wrist thanks to Ed.

Up now is a sort-of Fortis. It's a dial, movement, and caseback from a vintage Fortis pilot's watch.
The case itself is aftermarket and a tad bitty too big for the dial so you can see the edges of the dial. I don't know about the handset or crown.

The movement is signed and manual wind. The balance wheel has stopped before while the watch is dial up but I haven't encountered this on the wrist. A nice watch for someone interested in learning the ins and outs of watch maintenance.

I'll throw in the leather NATO and the Royal Anglian NATO shown.

This one too, winner gets both.

I'll throw this one in that was just gifted upon me by an esteemed member of an equally esteemed forum.

6 7/8th inch wrist

50mm of Swiss Maid goodness. Black ion plated with custom Invicta indestructable rubber strap. Dial has cutaways to reveal the (I believe) Ronda 5040 something or other with the fast runner at the bottom. Heaps of AR coating on the molecularly bonded crystal.

Hands are still attatched but one of the indestructable rubber keepers snapped when I tried it on for this pic.

All papers, boxes and limited edition Invicta cleaning cloth are included.

I would like to get it out of my watchbox ASAP as it's scaring my Hamilton Jeffrey.

I'll try bumpng this one again.

Also if you'd rather have a Bulova instead of an Invicta, you can take this and the Fortis:

Bulova WWII Hack Watch Reissue

Acrylic crystal has some scratches of course, but acrylic is super easy to buff.

I am the second owner, the first was the great, exalted Foghorn.

Okay, Andrewthony, I'll take the Fortis and the Bulova, but please, PLEASE keep the Invicter...I still have far too many of them, and they scare my little doggy. Will PM with snail mail addy when you give the hidey-ho.

Howdy, gang, and please accept my apologies for the decades-long wait to post my TAPLAP comeback...but, as they say in the worldwide watch community, it's better to be a bit late than to close down the TAPLAP altogether. Well, that's what I heard, anyway...

So here's old Mort's first shot across the TAPLAP bow: A beautiful, ultra-thin Citizen Eco-Drive, titled the Stiletto...

It's uber-thin, uber-comfortable, and it really does feel like it's not there...okay, Mort, if it's so bloody great, why put it in the TAPLAP? Simple! This gorgeous watch just doesn't get enough wear; it spends far too much time in der box, while I'm out there wearing my oldies-but-goodies...

Oh, and speaking of the box, this puppy comes with its original box and papers!! That's it, gang; hope it finds a good home with one of y'all... :face:
