I am sitting here waiting. I have a beautiful new Seiko with a mother of pearl dial that I bought for my wife. She does not like it and will not wear it. Let me know if I can post pictures and get this rolling guys. I hope this is the right way to ask?

Dang. The Mrs. of the DOOM Estate just purchased a vintage Citizen 7 or I'd pick this up.

Yes, Okay so I am an ass. This is a citizen, not a Seiko. I need the lope to see that, wow I am getting old. The mother of pearl has a nice green tint to it in the light. Movement is a 1012-s110055, model number is 2N1020171.

I have come up with a new give-away game we all can participate in. We all have the watch drawer full of "misfit" watches, either not our style, broken, or no longer worn and not worth selling. Here is a way to move them on to happier homes:

-One person will list the watch as a give-away. This watch can be broken, need battery, whatever. Any condition is fine!

-If anyone wants it, they must step forward and make a post saying they will take it by replying to the thread. First come, first serve!

-At that point I will lock the thread until the watch is delivered to its new home. Once I receive notice that the watch has arrived, I will unlock the thread, the new owner now MUST list a watch from their boxes to be given away. Then repeat the above process.

The Rules:
Post a pic and adequately describe the watch.
Mail it to the new owner via a traceable method.
No catch and release, if the watch is not to your liking, you must keep it and try to give it away at another round.
I may change the rules as needed for logistics.

I think that is it. Have fun. I will start:

For our new members and those that forgot, here are the rules.

I'll throw this one in that was just gifted upon me by an esteemed member of an equally esteemed forum.

6 7/8th inch wrist

50mm of Swiss Maid goodness. Black ion plated with custom Invicta indestructable rubber strap. Dial has cutaways to reveal the (I believe) Ronda 5040 something or other with the fast runner at the bottom. Heaps of AR coating on the molecularly bonded crystal.

Hands are still attatched but one of the indestructable rubber keepers snapped when I tried it on for this pic.

All papers, boxes and limited edition Invicta cleaning cloth are included.

I would like to get it out of my watchbox ASAP as it's scaring my Hamilton Jeffrey.
