Domain name move....PLEASE READ!

Below is a message from Dion who will be moving us to the new Best Damn Watch Forum domain name:

Note that everyone will be logged out from watchforums.net. It's probably
worth making an announcement about this, since some people keep themselves
logged in, and they may not remember their passwords. If these people know
in advance, they can change their passwords to something they'll remember.
Or at a minimum, they can make sure they have a valid email so the board
can send out a password reset notice.


What you need to do: log in before the switch is made (this weekend
probably) to confirm their passwords work. If you automatically log in,
log out and then back in to ensure everything is set

The renaming of the forum should be completed by Dion in the next 72 hours. Then the site should be re-submitted to search engines. A new SSL certificate will be added to this forum as well. Several bounce backs of emails occurred.

Persistent logins are not currently possible at that URL because the board configuration is still set to watchforums.net.

Resetting the board configuration and redirecting watchforums.net to bestdamnwatchforum.com is a simple, five-minute task. I can do it right now if you want, but I think it's better to give the admins there some advance notice since everyone will get logged out. So have them pick a time, and that's when it will get done
.

I have asked that the resetting of the re-direct be done Monday to give folks time to get ready for it. Bestdamnwatchforum lives again.

Payment for the work has been made to Dion. There will be some small fees when the new artwork is installed after Art gets back.
