Watchforums.net dying on the vine.

John, I sent this message to Alain.  Just keeping you in the loop.

Alain,
I did some recent stats. We currently have 75 members on the site. 4/75 haven't logged on in over 6 months, 27/75 haven't logged on in over 90 days, and 53/75! haven't logged on in a month. I think it is safe to say the site is not doing well. I accept the blame as I have been neglectful as far as adding new content. That said, my involvment is going to get worse as I am under 6 months from my board exam and have really tried to ramp up my studying. I think most of the members have dual memberships to WF and WL, which may explain why they don't come by WF. I think that there is good, unique content on WF, especially in the Watch Brand of the Day forum and the take a penny leave a penny thread. Is there a way to migrate the content from WF to WL and put WF on ice? Let me know your thoughts. I haven't discussed this with John (ocean) yet, but he is a smart guy and I'm sure sees the writing on the wall.

I think it is safe to say the same. I really haven't had the time to put into it lately. It's not that I don't want to but it seems like anything you or I put up isn't enough to help it.

For the first time in the year this place has been up I will step in if needed. You cannot migrate the data as both are stand alone forums. I will have to think of a way to spend some time here using another ID as I do not want this place to have my signature on it. Perhaps if more content were added or the addition of other sub forums.

If need be perhaps someone else with time can deal with it.
