So, I have just pulled the trigger on another watch - and this time, like with the Eterna, once again it's a vintage piece. As always, you're invited to make your guesses as to what it is. Clue: some would passionately hate it for its brand and background.

Oh, and... BL, I beg you, don't be the killjoy, let 'em guess!

My guess: Rotary. I know I'm wrong, but it was the first thing that jumped into my feeble mind.

This watch came in a number of versions, however this one -34mm steel case and this dial configuration - is the least common and most coveted. The dial configuration with enhanced legibility (unlike the ordinary fully lumed Arabic numerals one) suggests a watch issued to fighter pilots, which would also account for it being uncommon - after all, pilots are the minority of the total personnel of any airforce. The B-Uhr would have been issued to bomber pilots and navigators, fighter pilots had no need for that 55mm monster.

Unlike most D/DH watches, this one is in great condition, with a case that’s still sharp, and a few years ago...it passed the pressure test.

Slightly off topic: WGs (meaning the old WatchGeeks forum members/other forum trolls) pronounced all watches that end in a with an "R." Invicter, for example. Which makes this watch a Doxer.

That watch has character! Nice job.
