Well you guys probably know me from my short, but overactive time at WL so I'll use this space to better describe myself. I'm a 27 year old male from the Philadelphia area, lived there most my life except for a short stint in southern california. I am currently a produce manager at a health foods coop on the campus of a state university. I'm actually a former heroin addict (heroin is huuuuge in these parts) and I'm going to school in the fall to become a youth drug & alcohol counselor. I've always felt the best drug counselors were addicts themselves and I hate to see all the young people in this area getting hooked on that shit.

My new addiction is hunting for bargains on the used watch circuit. I rarely pay over $200 for a watch and feel I have a pretty respectable collection for a kid my age. I have 3 seiko divers, 4 philip watches, 2 vintage omegas (hopefully 3 by the end of today), a hi beat vintage hamilton, a hongkong made flying tourbillon that I won in a magazine contest, and about 8 more.

I also enjoy politics and baseball. I'm a diehard phillies fan (and also played catcher for a couple semipro teams until I got hooked on drugs) and as far as politics go i'm fiscally conservative and socially liberal. Some people like to call me a libertarian but I associate that word with the ron paul fanatics which I am not.

I'm always willing to learn more about this hobby and am looking forward to doing so. That's about it, I doubt anyone cares what I just said.

(As someone who 'experienced' some pretty extensive injuries a decade ago, I fully understand and relate very well to what you went through with the 'opiate thing'...)
