We never split up, we just took a 14 year vacation

Post by csiever » Wed May 26, 2021 3:53 pm

I ran across an article about a former telemarketing host (JS) and how he's into selling knives now on Youtube. Made me think of the old BDWF on which I experienced some good "conversations". I searched and ended up here. Since leaving I have retired (7 years now), am fully vaccinated, and haven't purchased a new watch in years. I do still have most of my watch photos that I had contributed to the former BDWF though, but no longer have a photo hosting site. At any rate HELLO to everyone.

Greetings, welcome back to the fold.

Congrats on retirement and smart move on getting vaccinated. Trust me, it is very much the smart move.

Time to buy a new watch?

Welcome back, I was away quite some time too, but that was because I thought this place had died. Stumbled back on it quite by accident and so pleased I did.

Yes, I have the full covid-condom too.
Hey Buster. Weren't you getting into R/C Helicopters before I left?

Welcome back to the asylum..so, resistance was futile, eh?.. 8)
Good to be back. Only difference, aside from a few more years under my belt, is that I no longer REQUIRE a watch purchase every month. :D

Current cash cows are 3D printing and CNC. ALMOST as addictive.

Yep, got one of those small RC choppers, then went onto a twin rotor Chinook which was a bugger to fly (properly), then I moved onto drones with a Hubsan, now I have the DJI Mavic Pro.

Still got the helicopters too... somewhere.
