Origin & Vision

Mondaine represents affordable luxury. The Mondaine timepiece design is distinct, clean, easy to read and immediately identifiable thanks to its signature red seconds hand - all superb selling points for retailers and high-demand features for consumers. The timepieces are crafted of high quality materials and are Swiss made.

Mondaine Watch Ltd. is the creator of the Official Swiss Railways Watch collection, launched over 20 years ago. Inspired by the Swiss Railways clocks, which have indicated the precise tiem at all Swiss train stations for more than 60 years, these Mondaine watches put this iconic clock on the wrist.

Design & Technology

For more than 100 years the Swiss Federal Railways have been famous for punctuality and precision. Historically the train station manager used a special red Paddle to announce to passengers and train conductors that the train is about to depart. This red Paddle with its special shape is also the second hand of the Official Swiss Railways Clock.

Mondaine’s original and authentic watch and clock collection captures this pristine and punctual look.

Nice choice db. Here are mine...

Mondaine Ecomatic Alp
w/eta 2646 movement. (i love the super high polish on the inside of the case under the crystal and the reflection it provides of the hour markers.)

And a vintage mondaine that is beat to hell but still ticking along.

If I can find one of the discontinued "stop & go" railway watches, that's on my list.

It looks good on that bracelet. When I get one, i'll be looking at aftermarket bracelets as well.
