Not sure everyone knows or not knows about this brand.

The tradition and quality of Swiss watch making is known throughout the world. The Debaufre Family first began producing watches in the 1700s and are the originators of jeweled watch movements.

Having fallen out of production by the 20th century, the brand was revitalized and the modern Debaufre was born. Today Debaufre provides fine Swiss craftsmanship in the tradition of the worlds greatest brands, manufacturing in Switzerland and shipping worldwide.

Debaufre is owned and operated by a small group of highly professional and dedicated people. We sell direct, provide our own customer service, and personally stand behind all our products. In this way we can keep service at the highest levels and costs to a minimum.

In days gone by, you knew who you were purchasing your goods and services from, Debaufre returns you to that bygone era of expert quality and individual service.

I can take or leave the rolex-looking models, but I like the others.

I owned a Debaufre GMT for awhile; it was a nice watch, well made, but definitely a Rollie clone. I think the company's owned by Steinhart and the watches they sell in the USA are badged Debaufre.

Steinhart's are quite a bit cheaper, BTW.

I know where your coming from and is why I told Boscoe to try to get to Gunter give him a deal on one. That or you could get a Grovana.

A Steinhart by any Other Name - Now we are Debaufre Watches. Perhaps Shakespeare said it best so many years ago when he penned the famous line in Romeo and Juliet: "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

The meaning, of course, behind that infamous line is simply this: That which matters the most is not what something is called, but rather what it actually is. It's all about substance, in other words. Such is the position we have taken here at Steinhart watches as we transition to our new name, Debaufre.
