As this thing evolves over the next couple of days will be thinking of those out in the middle of the Pacific.

I am far enough inland in Louisiana that we only deal with the wind and rain from hurricanes. Have family along the Gulf coast here and in Japan. Friends in Samoa, too. At least here we can get away from the storms. Not so much on an island.

I'm actually flying out to Hawaii on Monday. I will clean out the rest of my stuff I want to keep and get rid of the rest. A hurricane hitting my house might be nice, I wouldn't have to wait for it to sell or clean out my stuff.
