I damn sure didn't want to quit smoking as I have loved it since age 21; but, when you get 19 spots burned out in your ventricles and then get a biventricular pacer/defibrillator implanted, all within two months, and at age 46, well, it grabs one's attention.

I miss it though. Have gained about 15#s but the MDs and nurses have said that is better to have the weight than to smoke.

Damnit.
