Korea used to sell counterfeit shoes, the Army guys would buy several pairs and they would fall apart after a week or two. It was amusing listening to people bitch, like they really thought these would last.
It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.
I've seen so many fake shoes, fake purses and fake watches all over Asia. Public Officials say they're trying to crack down on counterfeits, but the vendors just relocate as quickly as they pop up. There's just way too much money involved to completely shut them all down.
I knew about the prevalence of fake watches, sunglasses and handbags. Hadn't thought about counterfeit shoes until I saw more shoes listed on eBay, which seemed odd.
