Bread at home

Post by biglove » Fri Mar 05, 2021 5:15 pm

So I bought a bread machine after dealing with the inability to buy a loaf with the recent winter storms.

My wife's BFF is a foodie and makes bread daily for her family in hers and recommended this machine. She has also promised to teach me how to not screw it up.

Guess we shall know if my first try at it is successful in a couple of hours.

Also have some oven bread baking recipes but this should be easier.

Anyone else make their own bread?

Turned out incredibly well. Just what my DIABEETUS needs...

Oldest daughter came over and ate two big pieces with butter for breakfast. Sent my Dad home with two slices.

Now have another 2 pound loaf baking. This does not bode well for my waistline or the 'BEETUS.
