How about a lil fun. Bust out your crystal ball. What trends etc do you predict we will see in the watch world in the next 12 months?

More vintage re-releases
A trend back to more reasonable sizes, even 36mm

I think your going to see more brands starting to use Chinese movements as it's getting very hard to get Swiss and Miyota can't keep up with demand.

Also it looks like a lot more micro's are on the way...

I see prices being slashed, red dials becoming the flavor of the day and IWG buying up another floundering Swiss brand.

The person I would consider to be sort of the grandfather of microbrand movement recently did well with a 36mm so you may be correct. I personally really like about a 38mm like our A11 series. I had thought about a 36 for that but thought it too risky at the time. Now my thoughts are a bit different on that. =)

I expect price increases on all watches with Swiss or Miyota mechanical movements. Reason being you can hardly get them, it's taking twice or three times as long to get them and the price keeps going up. This is after discussion with several fellow brand owners.

Yup, and lousy bloggers that tout them.

And continue dumping their load to whom ever will sell them cheap (MASSDROP, Ashford, TV Shopping Networks).

Then it will be time to unload some watches just for the Swiss & Japanese movements. $$$
